Please note that the Bistro on Bywong will be closed this Sunday.
However, you’re more than welcome to bring along a cheese platter or your favourite nibbles, or even order in from one of the many local takeaway options while you enjoy the afternoon.

Celebrating books and reading, Books on Bywong is a regular event for book lovers hosted by Sally Wilson.
Each month a guest author takes readers behind the scenes of their book, discussing their inspiration, writing process and publishing journey, as well as their top reading recommendations.
There is no obligation to have read the book, simply come along to enjoy the bookish conversation, pick up some new book recommendations and enjoy a relaxed evening at the West Toowong Bowls Club.
Books will be available for purchase thanks to our friends at Avid Reader and of course, the bar will be open!
On the last Thursday of each month the West Toowong Bowls Club is home to our ever popular Trivia Night! (Bookings are a must..)
The Bistro is open from 5.30pm but the Club itself is open all afternoon so feel free to come early and plan your strategy over a few drinks and maybe a game of pool!
Trvia kicks off from around 6.30 – 6.45pm and all question sheets are provided on arrival.
